Know when to walk away

Most of us have seen Jaws , the all time classic of the horror genre. It kept people out of the water and was terrible for shark species around the world. The Jaws series presents an interesting case study:

Jaws1 :

Critics consensus: “ Compelling, well- crafted story telling and judicious sense of terror ensure Steven Spielberg’s Jaws has remained a benchmark in the art of delivering modern blockbuster thrills.”

Jaws2 :

Critics consensus: “Jaws 2 never approaches the lingering thrills of its classic predecessor, but its reasonably entering for a sequel that has no reason to exist .”

Jaws3 :

Critics consensus: “A cheese-soaked ocean thriller with no evident thriller to exist, Jaws 3 bellows forthwith a plaintive yet ultimately unheeded cry to put this franchise out of viewers misery.”

Jaws4 : The Revenge

Critics consensus: “ illogical, tension-free and filled with cut-rate special effects -Jaws4 -The Revenge is a sorry chapter in a once-proud franchise.”

This is why we should tread carefully on how badly we want sequel . Spielberg   only directed the first one.

If only we knew when to walk away before things went south , many of us would have fewer scars and wasted efforts.

Jurassic Fandom T-Rex : First they designed with multiple iteration thoughts .Did clay models , and then built a full-sized unmovable fiberglass version of the T-Rex that took 16 weeks and lots of man power to finish.

They layered a mold over the actual foam latex over that T-Rex, which has then stripped off and used for the skin texture.

JURASSIC
Ten team of artist painted the color and texture on to the T-Rex’s skin . While skin was built , a team of engineers built a skeletal core- hydraulic powered robotic T-Rex. The skin was then draped over it .You only saw him from the legs up.

JURASSIC -RAIN

A behind-the-scenes look at the famous rain scene.

This original T-Rex design has since been re-used, re-purposed and the cast in subsequent Jurassic Park Films.

Conclusion:

Tread carefully and I know when to stop your life from turning into a disaster b-movie. Knowing when to quit takes discipline and separation from one’s ego.

Always walk thru life’s lesson learned to apply into best practice of life.
